According to the Gardena Police Department, the crash occurred around 6:10 p.m. at the intersection of Western Avenue and 139th Street. 

The rider, traveling southbound on Western Avenue, reportedly rear-ended a bus before striking a third vehicle. Paramedics pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene, with no other injuries reported.

No further details were released, and authorities are gathering all the necessary information to determine the factors leading to the incident.
