One person suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 1 south of Freedom Boulevard in Santa Cruz County on Tuesday afternoon, August 18, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 1 p.m. on southbound Highway 1 and involved a white Ford SUV carrying several people and an Isuzu flatbed truck driven by a man.
