A woman died, and four other people were hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision in Encino on Saturday morning, September 12, 2026.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, emergency personnel responded shortly after 11:15 a.m. to the intersection of Densmore Avenue and Ventura Boulevard.
Firefighters and paramedics evaluated six people involved, and five required immediate transport to local hospitals.
One woman later died from her injuries at a hospital. Four other people remained hospitalized for further medical treatment.
Authorities have not released the identities or current conditions of the surviving patients, and the woman who died has not been publicly identified.
The circumstances that led to the collision were not immediately known.
