[09-01-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Tractor-Trailer Overturns After Crash With Minivan in Lancaster

A tractor-trailer carrying approximately 43,000 pounds of cheese overturned after colliding with a minivan in Lancaster on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 10:32 p.m. The impact caused the tractor-trailer to overturn and knock down an electricity pole. Both vehicles also left the roadway following the collision.

An ambulance was dispatched to the scene, although information regarding possible injuries was not immediately available.

CHP issued a SigAlert for Avenue E East between 90th Street and 120th Street due to an oil and diesel spill from the tractor-trailer. The closure was expected to remain in effect until approximately 8:55 a.m. Wednesday.
