[07-12-2026] Solano County, CA – Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on I-80 Near Lagoon Valley Rd. Wrst of Vacaville

A 28-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a high-speed crash west of Vacaville early Sunday morning, July 12, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 1:30 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 80 near Lagoon Valley Road. Authorities found the motorcyclist deceased in the center median.

CHP reported that five other vehicles were found on the right shoulder and are believed to have been involved in separate collisions caused by debris from the motorcycle crash. Two drivers sustained minor injuries and complained of pain.

The CHP continues to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
