A woman was killed after her vehicle collided with the rear of a semi-truck hauling a mobile trailer on Chestnut Avenue in Fresno County on Monday morning, June 29, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 7:30 a.m. on Chestnut Avenue between North and Annadale avenues.
The woman was driving an Acura northbound when the semi-truck pulling a mobile trailer entered the roadway in front of her. She was unable to stop in time and struck the rear of the trailer.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity has not yet been released. The semi-truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
