[06-13-2026] Riverside County, CA – One Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision in Thermal.webpA 26-year-old man was killed following a two-vehicle collision in Thermal, Riverside County, on Saturday morning, June 13, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 5 a.m. at the intersection of Avenue 58 and Buchanan Street.

Authorities reported that a 2017 Acura RDX traveling eastbound on Avenue 58 failed to stop at a posted stop sign and collided with a northbound 2009 Toyota Camry.

The impact caused both vehicles to overturn. The Toyota driver, identified as Pablo L. of Mecca, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Acura driver, whose identity has not been released, sustained major injuries and was transported to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs.

Authorities continue to investigate the collision.
