[04-29-2026] Fresno County, CA – Head-On Crash Leaves Two Men Hospitalized at Manning and Temperance Ave.

Two men were hospitalized following a head-on crash in Fresno County on Wednesday afternoon, April 29, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, officers were dispatched at around 3 p.m. at Manning and Temperance avenues, between Fowler and Selma. 

Authorities stated that that a 60-year-old man driving a Hyundai Accent west on Manning Avenue veered into opposing traffic. A 73-year-old man driving a Ford Ranger eastbound attempted to avoid the Hyundai by swerving into the westbound lane. However, the Hyundai driver swerved back into the same lane, resulting in a head-on collision.

Both drivers were transported to the hospital with minor-to-moderate injuries. The Hyundai driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and will be booked once discharged from the hospital.

The vehicles sustained significant damage, with the Ford Ranger landing upside down. 

The crash remains under investigation.
