An ATV driver was killed after a collision with a pickup truck near Rio Linda, Sacramento County, on Saturday evening, April 25, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported around 8:19 p.m. at the intersection of 16th Street and Elverta Road.
Authorities stated that the pickup truck struck the ATV from behind, ejecting the rider. The ATV driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
