[04-15-2026] Kern County, CA – 83-Year-Old Bicyclist Dies After Being Struck by Vehicle on Chester Ave.

An 83-year-old bicyclist died after being struck by a vehicle in the 300 block of Chester Avenue in Kern County on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.

According to the Kern County coroner’s office, Moises R. was hit at around 1:14 p.m. while riding his bicycle. He was transported to Kern Medical, where he later died from his injuries on Friday at 7:10 p.m.

The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
