[03-28-2026] Alameda County, CA – One Killed in Solo-Vehicle Crash on Grimmer Blvd in Fremont.webpA man was killed, and another was arrested following a solo-vehicle crash in Fremont early Saturday morning, March 28, 2026.

According to the Fremont Police Department, officers responded to the crash report at around 1:42 a.m. in the area of Grimmer Boulevard, between Irvington and Carol avenues.

The crash involved a Dodge Challenger SRT, and authorities found two men—one dead at the scene and the other transported to the hospital.

Police said the Dodge Challenger was traveling southbound on Grimmer Boulevard at a high rate of speed when it lost control on a curve and crashed into a series of traffic barriers.

The driver was later arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and booked into Santa Rita County Jail.

The crash remains under investigation.
