[03-19-2026] San Diego County, CA – Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck By Multiple Vehicles on Highway 5

A 20-year-old man was killed after being struck by multiple vehicles while walking across Highway 5 in San Diego on Thursday evening, March 19, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 11:34 p.m. when Alexander O. of San Diego was walking across the highway at G Street. He was struck by multiple vehicles, and 911 was immediately called.

Officers arrived at the scene and pronounced the victim dead from blunt force trauma.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and authorities are working to determine the circumstances leading up to the incident.
