According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded to the incident at around 1:22 p.m. at East Betteravia Road and Philbric Road, involving a Toyota Camry and a Ford F250.

One person sustained moderate injuries, while the other had minor injuries. Both were treated at the scene, and one person was transported to Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria by an AMR ambulance.

A large fuel leak was reported from one of the vehicles, and the roadway was partially blocked by debris.
