[03-13-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – 73-Year-Old Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash While Riding Bicycle in Koreatown.webpA 73-year-old woman was fatally struck by a suspected hit-and-run driver while riding her bicycle in Koreatown, Los Angeles County, on Friday morning, March 13, 2026.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash occurred around 6:40 a.m. when a white Dodge Ram truck, traveling eastbound on Olympic Boulevard, made a right turn onto southbound Vermont Avenue. The woman was riding eastbound on Olympic within the crosswalk when she was struck by the vehicle.

The truck driver fled the scene, continuing east on Olympic toward Menlo Avenue.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the woman to a hospital, where she later died. Her identity has not been released pending notification of her relatives.

Detectives found the suspect’s vehicle near the scene and took it into police custody as evidence. Investigators noted that drug use may have contributed to the fatal crash.

A reward of up to $50,000 is being offered for information leading to the suspect’s identity, arrest, and conviction.
