[03-14-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Several People Seriously Injured in Crash on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu

Several people sustained serious injuries in a crash in Malibu on Saturday afternoon, March 14, 2026.

According to the Lost Hills-Malibu Sheriff’s Station, the collision occurred at about 1:30 p.m. on Pacific Coast Highway near Bonsall Drive.

Lt. Jason Duron reported that one of the vehicles crossed over into lanes on the opposite side of the roadway before the crash occurred.

Authorities confirmed that there were serious injuries, although the exact number of injured individuals was not immediately known.

Pacific Coast Highway was closed for approximately 30 minutes while crews worked to clear the wreckage. Metro buses were detoured through the area until about 5 p.m.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
