[03-10-2026] Napa County, CA – Three Children Injured in Crash Involving Electric Motorbikes and Car in Angwin.webpA 5-year-old child suffered major injuries, and two other children were injured in a crash involving electric motorbikes and a car in Angwin, Napa County, on Tuesday evening, March 10, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of Newton Way and Bay Street. 

Investigators reported that the 5-year-old boy was riding an electric motorbike on Bay Street with a 7-year-old passenger, while another 7-year-old was riding a second electric motorbike nearby. 

The CHP said a 2023 Chevrolet Malibu, driven on Newton Way, was struck on the right side by both electric motorbikes.

The 5-year-old boy suffered major injuries and was airlifted to the University of California, Davis Medical Center. One of the 7-year-olds sustained minor injuries and was also flown to UC Davis, while the other 7-year-old was transported by ambulance to Queen of the Valley Medical Center with minor injuries.

The CHP did not provide information about whether the children were wearing helmets at the time of the crash.
