[03-10-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Three Semi-Trucks Involved in Crash, Causing Traffic Delays on I-5 North of Quail Lake

A collision involving three semi-trucks caused significant traffic delays lasting up to two hours on Interstate 5 northbound, south of Quail Lake, near State Route 138 in Los Angeles County, on Tuesday morning, March 10, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 5:39 a.m. when two big rigs collided and blocked the No. 4 lane.

Approximately five minutes later, a third big rig crashed into the second semi, causing oil to spill over the Nos. 2, 3, and 4 lanes, leading to a closure lasting one to two hours.
