[03-02-2026] San Diego County, CA – Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Collision with Pickup Truck in Santee

A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a pickup truck in Santee, San Diego County, on Monday afternoon, March 2, 2026.

According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to reports of the crash around 1:50 p.m. at the intersection of North Magnolia Avenue and the on-ramp to State Route 67. 

Upon arrival, deputies found the motorcyclist on an embankment adjacent to the roadway. A passerby assisted deputies in applying a tourniquet to control the rider’s bleeding before emergency responders transported the individual to a trauma center for further treatment.

The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and was evaluated and treated by medical personnel. Authorities have not released the names or ages of the individuals involved.

Sheriff’s officials believe that impaired driving may have played a role in the collision.
