[02-17-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Car Erupts in Flames After Crashing into Power Pole in North Hollywood.webpA car erupted in flames after crashing into a power pole in North Hollywood on Tuesday morning, February 17, 2026.

The incident, which occurred around 11:30 a.m. near Burbank Boulevard and Vineland Avenue, was reported as a two-car crash by the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD).

One of the vehicles struck the power pole, causing some power lines to fall and catch fire.

The car involved was an electric vehicle, which made it difficult for fire crews to approach the flames directly. As a result, firefighters used water from a distance to douse the fire.

At least two people were evaluated for minor injuries at the scene.

The cause of the incident remains under investigation.

What A Lawyer Can Do For You

Many victims put off calling a lawyer even if they sustain injuries after an accident. However, lawyers can help you in many ways. They can provide you with police reports, CCTV footage, and witness statements to strengthen your case. Your attorney will also negotiate with insurance companies to get you fair compensation. The best part is that they will do all of these things for you at no upfront cost. So if you’re injured in an accident, hire a personal injury attorney to recover medical bills, car repair costs, lost wages, and pain and suffering.
