[02-13-2026] San Diego County, CA – One Killed, Several Hospitalized After Three-Vehicle Crash in La Presa

One person was killed, and several others were transported to hospitals following a three-vehicle crash in La Presa, San Diego County, on Friday night, February 13, 2026.

According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office, the collision occurred around 10:40 p.m. at the intersection of Jamacha Boulevard and San Diego Street.

Officials said deputies were returning to their station from another call when they were nearly struck by an SUV driving recklessly in the area. Deputies briefly lost sight of the vehicle. A short time later, they came upon a three-vehicle crash involving what is believed to be the same SUV.

Deputies began providing first aid to those involved. One person was pronounced dead at the scene. All other individuals were transported to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions have not been released.

The investigation, now led by CHP, remains ongoing.
