[02-09-2026] Riverside County, CA – Injuries Reported After Multi-Vehicle Crash Involving Dump Truck in Eastvale.webpInjuries were reported after a multi-vehicle collision involving a dump truck on northbound Interstate 15 in Eastvale on Monday morning, February 9, 2026.

California Highway Patrol dispatchers reported that the crash occurred just after 6:00 a.m. south of State Route 60. 

Investigators said a dump truck and at least one other vehicle collided, triggering a chain reaction crash. CHP reported that as many as six vehicles were involved, including a white Honda Civic, a blue Chevrolet van, and a black SUV that spun and blocked multiple lanes of traffic.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene and closed lanes three through five to assist injured individuals.

Officials reported that the dump truck’s load of dirt, sand, and rocks spilled across the freeway, requiring extensive cleanup by Caltrans. 

Authorities said injuries were reported, though the number of injured individuals and the severity of their injuries were not immediately known.

The CHP continues to investigate the collision.
