Two people were transported to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash near the Cathedral City and Rancho Mirage border on Friday afternoon, February 6, 2026.
The collision was reported just before 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of Ramon Road and Duvall Drive.
Cathedral City Fire Chief Michael Contreras confirmed that one person had to be extricated from a vehicle as a result of the crash.
No additional details regarding the cause of the collision or the conditions of those injured were immediately available.
The incident remains under investigation.
