The crash was first reported at 9:51 a.m. in the southbound lanes just south of Mission Road, according to the California Highway Patrol. 

Dispatch logs indicated debris, including a bumper, scattered across the roadway. A white SUV was found sideways in the center divider, and additional vehicles described as a white sedan and a black sedan were located in the traffic lanes.

Units reported debris in the slow lane and middle lane, prompting requests for additional assistance. A rotation tow was requested at 10:02 a.m., with Adams Tow responding. At least one unit arrived on scene by 10:08 a.m., with more being assigned as additional vehicles were reported in the center divider.

No information was immediately available regarding injuries or the total number of vehicles involved. Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
