[08-24-2025] Two Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on Mount Emma Road Near Angeles Forest Highway in ActonTwo people were killed in a two-vehicle collision in Acton, Los Angeles County, on Sunday morning, August 24, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 8:25 a.m. on Mount Emma Road, just east of Angeles Forest Highway.

Authorities said the crash involved a white Toyota Corolla and a gray sedan. The vehicles were found in a nearby ravine, with two bodies discovered inside one of the cars. The second vehicle was unoccupied.

CHP reported road closures at 47th Street East and Mount Emma Road, as well as at Mount Emma Road and Angeles Forest Highway, beginning at 9:42 a.m.

No further details have been released as the investigation continues.
