A two-vehicle collision on Sherman Way in Reseda, Los Angeles, left one man dead and two others injured, including one critically, on Thursday morning, November 7, 2024.
The accident occurred around 8:30 a.m. in the 19600 block of West Sherman Way, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
First responders found two people trapped in the wreckage. A man, approximately 25 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene, while a 40-year-old man was transported to a hospital in critical condition.
Additionally, one patient who attempted to assist with the extrication before the LAFD arrived sustained a non-life-threatening injury and was also taken to the hospital.
The circumstances leading to the crash are under investigation.
