[09-16-2023] Two People Injured Following Hit-And-Run DUI Collision in LancasterTwo people were injured following a hit-and-run DUI collision in Lancaster early Saturday morning, September 16, 2023.

According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the collision happened around 1:30 a.m. between Avenue J and 10th Street West.

A Chevy Camaro driven by a Hispanic man reportedly struck a Lancaster Sheriff’s deputy inside a marked patrol unit.

The Chevy driver fled on foot, leaving his passenger with minor injuries, who refused medical attention. The deputy sustained minor bruises but was not taken to a hospital.

The passenger stated that the hit-and-run driver was under the influence of alcohol. Information on the suspect remains unavailable.
