At least one person was possibly injured following a DUI multi-vehicle collision in Pomona on Wednesday morning, September 13, 2023.
The Pomona Police Department responded to a 911 call about a traffic collision at the 1400 block of East Kingsley Avenue and St. Paul Street intersection at around 2:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers and firefighters discovered several vehicles, including an overturned pickup truck, in the front yard of an apartment complex. Officials have confirmed the presence of one trapped individual, but their identity remains unknown.
Authorities detained one of the drivers involved in the crash on suspicion of DUI, but it remains unclear if he was subsequently arrested. Although firefighters assessed his condition, he declined hospital transport.
