[09-09-2023] Amador County, CA – Two People Injured Following Single-Vehicle Crash Along Highway 88

Two people were injured following a single-vehicle crash along Highway 88, Amador County, on Saturday, September 09, 2023.

According to the Amador County Fire Department, the crash happened around the morning at Raven Road, outside the town of Pioneer.

An unidentified vehicle crossed an embankment nearly 300 feet over, trapping two people inside.

Both victims were extricated while ambulances and helicopters were sent to the scene. The injuries they sustained, or their current conditions remain unclear.

Further details on the crash have yet to be released by the authorities.
