[09-08-2023] San Luis Obispo County, CA – Two Drivers Injured Following Two-Vehicle Collision Near the Cuesta Grade

Two drivers were injured following a two-vehicle collision near the Cuesta Grade in San Luis Obispo County on Friday afternoon, September 8, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 2:36 p.m. along Reservoir Canyon Road.

Authorities stated that a vehicle was about to enter the southbound lane from Reservoir Canyon Road when it collided with an oncoming vehicle heading northbound.

Officials said both vehicles had only one occupant and were transported to the hospital after sustaining various degrees of injury.

The authorities have not released further information about the collision.
