[09-10-2026] Santa Clara County, CA – Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash in San Jose

A woman died after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in San Jose on Thursday night, September 10, 2026.

According to the San Jose Police Department, officers responded to the incident shortly before 9:00 p.m. in the area of Rigoletto Drive and King Road.

Police said the driver involved left the scene. Additional information about the vehicle or driver was not immediately available.

The woman was transported to a hospital for treatment, but later died from her injuries. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity pending notification of next of kin.
