A motorcyclist was seriously injured after colliding with a car in North Highlands, Sacramento County on Thursday night, September 28, 2023.

According to the Sacramento County Sheriff, the crash occurred around 10:25 p.m. near Jackson Street and Madison Avenue.

The collision started when the driver failed to stop for a traffic violation, leading to a chase by the deputies, before crashing into another vehicle.

Initial reports indicated the rider was transported to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries, while the other victim sustained no visible injuries from the crash.
