[09-22-2023] Los Angeles County, CA – Unidentified Pedestrian Killed Following Hit-and-Run Collision in Sun Valley

An unidentified pedestrian was killed after a hit-and-run collision in Sun Valley, Los Angeles, on Friday evening, September 22, 2023.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the fatal collision occurred in the 7800 block of Lankershim Boulevard at around 8:47 p.m.

Los Angeles Fire Department personnel arrived at the scene to find that the driver had fled the location without helping the victim. First responders were unable to render aid to the pedestrian, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
