[09-17-2023] Tulare County, CA – 43-Year-Old Male Pedestrian Killed Following Hit-and-Run in Tonyville Area

A 43-year-old male pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle following a hit-and-run in the Tonyville Area, Tulare County, early Sunday morning, September 17, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 12:30 a.m. along Avenue 252, east of Road 216.

Initial investigation revealed that the victim was walking in the roadway near Tonyville, just east of Lindsay, when the vehicle struck him. Upon the arrival of emergency responders, the man was pronounced dead on the scene.

Authorities provided no descriptions of the vehicle in question while the search for the suspect is ongoing.

Officials are conducting further investigations.
