A motorcyclist was killed after colliding with a pickup truck on Saturday afternoon in Lucerne Valley, San Bernadino County, September 16, 2023.
The San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to reports of the fatal crash around 3:45 p.m. along Old Woman Springs Road and Santa Fe Fire Road in Lucerne Valley.
Upon the arrival of emergency teams, the rider was found dead on the roadway and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a white pickup truck pulling a trailer turned left onto Sante Fe Fire Road when the motorcycle passed and collided with it, fatally injuring the rider.
Officials did not specify if the pickup truck’s driver remained at the scene, and no further details were provided.
While official investigations are underway, further details regarding the incident are unavailable.
