[09-11-2023] Stanislaus County, CA – Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck by Vehicle in Oakdale

A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Oakdale on Monday evening, September 11, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal collision occurred around 8:00 p.m. along Patterson Road, west of Kaufman Road.

Authorities stated that a man in his 20s was walking westbound within the roadway when a 2011 Ford struck him. He was reported dead at the scene, while the driver was not harmed.

The Ford driver was identified as a 43-year-old resident of Modesto, while the victim’s identity has yet to be released.
