[09-09-2023] Riverside County, CA – 63-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed Following Hit-And-Run Crash With Vehicle in Lake Elsinore

A 63-year-old motorcyclist was fatally struck by a vehicle on a Saturday morning in Lake Elsinore, September 9, 2023.

The California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a collision at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Interstate 15, north of Railroad Canyon Road.

Initial investigation revealed that the rider was in the northbound lane when he was rear-ended by an unknown vehicle. The collision ejected the man from his 2007 Yamaha V-Star motorcycle, and authorities declared him dead on the scene.

Investigators have not released the man’s identity until the victim’s next of kin is notified.

Details regarding the vehicle responsible for the incident are still unknown.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation and is currently being handled by the CHP.
