Two people were injured after a three-vehicle collision in Oasis, Riverside County, on Friday morning, July 19, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the traffic crash happened around 10:32 a.m. near the intersection of State Route 86 and 81st Avenue.
CHP reported that the incident involved a Ford Expedition, a black Dodge Ram pickup truck, and a red Kia sedan. It is still unclear how the three vehicles collided with each other, but one was said to have rolled due to the impact of the crash.
The Kia driver reportedly suffered major injuries and was airlifted to Desert Regional Medical Center for further medical care. The Ram driver, meanwhile, sustained minor injuries, while the Expedition driver appeared to be unhurt. None of the people involved were identified publicly yet.
CHP is still investigating the official cause of the accident. As of now, it is unknown if alcohol, drugs, or speeding contributed to it.
