Two people were injured, including a child, following a two-vehicle collision in Chula Vista on Tuesday night, May 7, 2024.
According to the Chula Vista Police Department, the serious crash happened at about 11:44 p.m. on East Palomar Street and Brandywine Avenue.
The circumstances behind the vehicular accident remain unclear, but police said that one car veered off the roadway and went up a nearby embankment.
Two people were reportedly hurt as a result of the crash. A 4-year-old child suffered major injuries, while another person was said to have sustained minor injuries. Both of them were transported to local hospitals to recover.
Additional information was not immediately available. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
