[04-20-2024] Los Angeles County, CA – Fifteen People Injured After Tram Tour Accident At Universal Studios

Fifteen people were injured after a tram tour accident at Universal Studios Hollywood, Los Angeles County, on Saturday evening, April 20, 2024.

According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the crash happened around 9:00 p.m. at 3900 Lankershim Boulevard.

Initial investigations suggest that the tram had overturned, which may have been caused by an unforeseen mechanical failure. All 15 injured victims were taken to nearby hospitals for immediate medical care.
