[11-02-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Two Trapped After Trash Truck Overturns in Collision With Big Rig in West Whittier-Los Nietos

Two people became trapped after a trash truck collided with a big rig and overturned in the West Whittier-Los Nietos area of Los Angeles County on Monday morning, November 2, 2026.

The collision was reported shortly before 6:30 a.m. at Slauson and Alburtis avenues.

Emergency crews arrived to find two people trapped inside the trash truck.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
