A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle in Diamond Springs, El Dorado County, on Sunday evening, November 1, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident was reported around 6:27 p.m. near Pleasant Valley Road and Glee Lane.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. CHP said the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with responding officers.
