Two people were killed, and two others sustained minor injuries in a three-vehicle collision in Ord Bend, Glenn County, on Friday afternoon, October 16, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at around 2:34 p.m. on Highway 45.

The Volt’s driver and passenger were transported to Enloe Health by air and ground ambulance with minor injuries. The Tacoma driver stopped on the west shoulder without injury.
The crash remains under investigation, including whether drugs or alcohol contributed.
