[10-13-2026] San Bernardino County, CA – Pedestrian Injured After Being Struck By Big Rig in Victorville

A pedestrian suffered blunt force trauma and facial fractures after being struck by a big rig in Victorville on Tuesday afternoon, October 13, 2026.

According to California Highway Patrol incident logs, the incident was reported at around 3:06 p.m. on the northbound Interstate 15 between Nisqualli Road and Palmdale Road.

The truck driver told CHP officers that the pedestrian emerged from an opening in the K-rail and ran directly into traffic, according to information from the scene.

The white tractor-trailer sustained visible front-end damage. Its driver pulled onto the right shoulder and cooperated with investigators.

The pedestrian was transported by ground ambulance to St. Mary Medical Center for treatment.

The Victorville CHP station is investigating the incident.
