[10-10-2026] San Francisco County, CA – Toyota Prius Submerged After Crash Near Candlestick Park Exit

A Toyota Prius was seen partially submerged in the Bay after a crash near the Candlestick Park exit on Highway 101 in San Francisco County, on Saturday, October 10, 2026.

A video posted to social media showed the Toyota partially submerged in the Bay and rotated toward the shoulder of Highway 101.

In the video, one person was seen standing beside the submerged vehicle and appeared to be helping a rear passenger escape.

Only two passengers were visible in the video. It was unknown how many people were inside the vehicle at the time of the crash.
