[10-10-2026] Santa Clara County, CA – One Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101 in San Jose

One person was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 101 in San Jose on Saturday morning, October 10, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at around 5:30 a.m. on southbound Highway 101, north of the Tully Road off-ramp.

Authorities said initial reports indicated the crash involved one vehicle, but it was later determined that multiple vehicles were involved.

CHP said one person died in the crash. Authorities were also advised of a possible ejection and a trapped occupant.

Several vehicles sustained major damage following the collision.
