[10-10-2026] San Bernardino County, CA – Woman Killed in Off-Road Jeep Rollover Near Calico

A 20-year-old woman died after being ejected from a Jeep during an off-road rollover near Calico, San Bernardino County, on Saturday morning, October 10, 2026.

The crash occurred at about 2:52 a.m. in a dry lakebed west of Calico Road and north of Calico Boulevard.

The California Highway Patrol said a 22-year-old Yermo man was driving the Jeep with Lylianne P. as his passenger.

CHP said the Jeep overturned for reasons still under investigation, ejecting the passenger. She was taken to Barstow Community Hospital, where she died from her injuries.

CHP said alcohol and/or drugs were considered contributing factors, but did not specify whether the driver was under the influence.

The crash remains under investigation.
