[10-06-2026] San Bernardino County, CA – Driver Killed, Passenger Critically Injured in Crash in Victorville (1).webpA driver was killed, and a passenger was critically injured after a vehicle crashed into the yard of a home in an unincorporated area of Victorville on Tuesday evening, October 6, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at around 6:30 p.m. in the area of Cerezo Road and Del Gado Road.

CHP officials said a red 2009 Dodge Charger carrying two males was traveling southbound on Del Gado Road when it struck a dip in the roadway, lost control, and crashed through a chain-link fence.

The vehicle came to rest in the yard of a home near the northeast corner of the intersection. The crash damaged the fence and two parked vehicles.

CHP officials also reported that the Charger had been driven recklessly before the collision.

Emergency personnel provided lifesaving measures to the driver before both occupants were transported by ambulance to local hospitals.

The driver was later pronounced dead at the hospital, while the passenger remained in critical condition. Authorities had not released the driver’s identity or an update on the passenger’s condition.

No one on the property was injured.

CHP continues to investigate the fatal crash.
