[10-01-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – One Killed in Collision Involving Motorcycle and Vehicle in Hawthorne

One person was killed in a collision involving a motorcycle and another vehicle in Hawthorne early Thursday morning, October 1, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at around 2:56 a.m. on the eastbound Century (105) Freeway near the Crenshaw Boulevard on-ramp.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities did not immediately release additional information about the victim or the circumstances surrounding the crash.

The investigation remains ongoing.
