[09-24-2026] Contra Costa County, CA – Juvenile Hospitalized After Being Struck By Vehicle in Walnut Creek

A juvenile was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in Walnut Creek on Thursday afternoon, September 24, 2026.

According to the Walnut Creek Police Department, officers were notified about the incident at around 3:43 p.m. in the 1900 block of Tice Valley Boulevard.

Officers arrived and found an injured juvenile at the scene. The victim was transported by medical personnel to a nearby hospital. Authorities did not provide information about the juvenile’s condition or the extent of injuries.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
