[09-24-2026] San Bernardino County, CA – 52-Year-Old Man Killed After Being Struck By Vehicle in Lucerne Valley

A 52-year-old Lucerne Valley man was killed after being struck by a vehicle in San Bernardino County on Thursday evening, September 24, 2026.

According to California Highway Patrol logs, the collision was reported at around 6:45 p.m. on State Route 18 near Tradepost Road.

Initial reports indicated that a vehicle struck a pedestrian in the roadway. Witnesses reported that the driver remained at the scene and was operating a larger truck towing a dump trailer.

The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office identified the pedestrian as Cesar N. of Lucerne Valley.

The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
